It's Wednesday...and there's not much fun going on today. I'm glad it's Wednesday...2 more days till the weekend! It's only the 12th of the year and I'm already looking forward to weekends! Something is wrong with this picture. LOL!
Well...I'm moving right along in my books. Started listening to Life of Pi again yesterday. It's really not what I thought it would be, or what the back of the book says it will be. Very disappointed in that. But I am LOVING Grave Secrets by Kathy Reichs. I love her stuff...love a good mystery to be honest.
Thanks to being on the road yesterday, today, and tomorrow, my eating healthy plan has gone out the window. It's hard to eat healthy when you drive around all day and don't really have time to stop. What I really need to do is do my research on what the "healthy" options are at fast food joints so that I'm not raking in my daily allotment of calories in one stop. I also need to go grocery shopping to buy some snacks...that will help immensely!
As for the school goal...well, I'm a day late on three assignments. The plan is to work on those tonight and get them turned in. I have no idea what I'm doing on one of them, so that should be interesting.
I've also got to start getting my stuff packed for moving at the end of the month. I have a TON of work stuff I've taken out of boxes and thrown the boxes away. I have no idea what to do with them now...and I can't throw most of it away. Looks like I'll be investing in some boxes somewhere.
Ok...that's all I got for now. Just needed to vent out some of what's going on. Back to work.
Hugs...

Books - Jan 3
So I added another book to my "currently reading" list: Kathy Reichs' Grave Secrets. If you like the TV show "Bones", these are good books for you. The TV show is loosely based off these books by Kathy. Her main character is the main character of the TV show: Temperance Brennan. Love the show, love the books! :)
Again...I'll up dating the Jan 1 post with the list as I read them.
Have fun, all!

Happy New Year!!
So it's a new year, finally...and yet...WOW 2010 went by FAST!! So much has happened and so much is going to happen. I can't wait to see what life will have sent my way a year from now. :)
On to what everyone wants to know: resolutions. Ah...they were made to be broken before they were made.
1. Healthy, healthy, healthy!!! That is my number 1 biggest goal for 2011. Eat better, exercise more, and get healthy. And if I happen to lose a few (maybe more) pounds in the process, yea me! I plan to be a little better at meal planning to make better for me meals. Cut the sodas, work on doing healthier snacks, and get some exercise in...even if it's just a lap or two around the apartment complex on my lunch break.
2. School, school, school! I have about 66 hours to complete my Bachelor's in Psychology degree. I've done 3 and I'm working on two more classes for 6 more hours. At the end of February I'll have 57 left (19 classes) to knock out. Now I don't see that happening before the end of the year, but I'd like to see about 8-10 classes done by this time next year.
3. Debt go away! I'm combining households with my boyfriend in about 29 days. That means combined incomes. Between the two of us we have about...well, enough, debt. With combined incomes the goal is to knock more than half of that. I've got a budget plan that I think will work, so it's definitely doable if we stick to it. :)
4. Read more! I love to read! But with all that's gone on lately, and my obsession for online games, I've not done so much as I usually do. So I'm going to start a challenge that I found here: here. I'll start a second blog in a bit with my starter list.
5. Blog more! I'd like to be a little more faithful here, despite the few followers. I'm hoping that the resolutions that I've listed above will give me the motivation to share with all of you what I'm doing and how I'm doing. Guess we'll find out how well this one goes.
And that's all I've got. 5...no more, no less. Here's to a great 2011!!

Friday Fill In #202
This week, I'm going to give you a choice of fill-ins OR a different kind of fill-in (or both). A friend emailed me a list where you have to identify Christmas songs by the initials of the first words of the first line of each song. Each Friday until Christmas Eve I'll post 9 more of these songs and if you'd like to play along, great!
So...here we go!
1. The best thing about a birthday celebration is having friends & family around.
2. I am not a fan the passage of time.
3. I went shopping recently and the most interesting thing I bought was a green bow ring and jangling earrings for Christmas parties this season.
4. I love the child's game candyland.
5. The reason is I remember playing it over and over and over again as a child!
6. I despise the snow and cold.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to the city parade to watch my future little sis-in-law with the pageant princesses, tomorrow my plans include another Christmas parade to watch a friend's daughter cheer and Sunday, I want to sleep, but I have a Christmas party at my soon to be grandmother-in-law's!
AND/OR
1. HYAMLC: Have yourself a merry little Christmas
2. TFNTADS: The First Noel (the angels did say)
3. GRYMGLNYD: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (let nothing you dismay)
4. ICUAMC: It came upon a midnight clear
5. SNHNAICAIB: Silent Night (holy night, all is calm, all is bright)
6. OTFDOCMTLGTM: 12 Days of Christmas (on the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me)
7. DTHWBOHFLLLLLLLL: Deck the Halls (with bows{sp} of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la)
8. YBWOYBNC: Santa Clause is Coming to Town (You better watch out, you better not cry)
9. JTTWTLHC: Joy to the World (the Lord has come)
*yeah...had to look up some of these from google. :)
Fun stuff! :)

Such a horrible poster
Well...time for another apology! I'm getting really bad at this. And it's not that I'm super busy, I just haven't done it. Which is odd because I'm about to get super busy! It's that time of year!! And I'm so excited!
Christmas is my favorite holiday season!! I love snowflakes and snowmen and gingerbread men and all that fun stuff (not a fan of Santa decor, but to each his/her own). I love getting a tree, real or fake, and decorating...filling that green booger with so many white lights you don't know what color the tree is anymore!! And most of all, I love that it's the celebration of our Lord's birth! :) This year I actually have room for a full size tree...but I have no idea how to get it home and up to my 2nd floor apartment. So I may just do another mini this year...especially since Stephen and I may be staying at his dad's Christmas Eve. Another thing I'm excited about...actually spending Christmas day with the love of my life!!! (Last year he had to work so we did Christmas early and I went to AZ). I'm so looking forward to this year!
On a different note...I've discovered my clothes fitting more and more tightly and it's time for me to get back into doing something about that! I can feel the effects of my weight on my body and it's just not healthy for me, at my age, to be this way! So, effective immediately it's time to start! Slowly, though, otherwise I'll burn myself out of this faster than I start. So, first things first...cutting out sodas. That's a hard one for me because I love my dark, carbonated, sugary goodness!! But that's the start. I need to start back into some sort of exercise regime, but that's the next step...we're doing baby steps for now! :)
And, the final new excitement in my life is that class starts today! Two more courses, to make my life busy, have begun today: Critical Thinking and Industrial/Organizational Psychology! I'm working my way to a BS in Psychology. It'll take a couple years, but that is the ultimate goal! And I'm very excited to finally be back on track with that, even if it means taking some fun out of my weekends.
Well...that's about it for now. I'll try to get back into the swing of some of my original posts: Monday's Mug and Friday Fill-In. And I'll try to do more updates as I can too...but you know me!
Hugs!

Monday's Mug!!
Finally back in the swing of things!! Here's this week's installment...You know the drill -
A random picture (aka, mug) from 2010. Each week will be different...it may be flowers, animals, people, or just plain ole scenery. It may be shopped or not. Just depends on how I'm feeling.
Here we go......

The view from where I live!!! Yes, folks, I live here!! :) Now, I'm upstairs so I have a couple trees blocking the full view when they're in full bloom. But it's a lovely place to be!! :)
